From one yearly publication that was eventually divided into two different ones, Brides and Celebrations, the client needed a complete redesign to separate both magazines visually and appeal better to their target audiences.

The previous design followed the bridal theme with a very classic and elegant approach but was failing to connect with the younger generation. A more whimsical and fun approach was needed in order to appeal to the millenial generation.

The new design makes use of a colour pallet contrasted with whites to make the white dresses stand out more.  The use of curved arches and circles throughout the publication generates movement and visual interest as well as represent the exchange of rings.

The new type combination creates a more modern look but also retains some of the more elegant and romantic elements from the original design.

The new design was successful in generating a whimsical and romantic feel while creating a graphic system flexible enough to adapt to different types of articles
