Founded in 1841, The Jewish Chronicle is the oldest continuously published Jewish newspaper in the world, based in London. It reflects the diverse spectrum of Jewish religious, social, and political perspectives across various topics and publications.

As a Graphic Designer, I create content that adheres to brand guidelines for print, digital, and social media channels.

Newspaper and Supplement 

As part of a collaborative design team, I contribute to the editorial layout of The Jewish Chronicle’s newspaper and its supplements. Working closely with editors, the senior designer, and the creative director, I ensure each section meets its unique design needs while maintaining the overall editorial line and visual identity. I adapt layouts to suit the distinct content and design requirements of each section, ensuring readability and engagement across diverse topics.

Magazines

I am responsible for designing all magazines at The Jewish Chronicle, overseeing both new publications and redesigns. This role requires developing cohesive visual identities tailored to our target audience while managing the entire design process. Although the creative director provides final approval, most of the design work and creative direction rests with me. I collaborate closely with editorial teams to enhance layouts, improve usability, and modernize the design, successfully balancing the pressures of multiple projects while maintaining each publication’s essence.

Social Media and Digital Design

In addition to my print work, I design social media templates and assets for The Jewish Chronicle’s online platforms. My role involves translating the publication’s visual language into engaging digital content, including posts, banners, and promotional materials to redirect traffic to our website, as well as supporting images and collages for our online stories. I strive to maintain brand consistency and engagement across all digital channels.

Advertising (Digital & Print)

I create advertising assets for digital and print mediums, collaborating with the marketing team to develop effective visual solutions for a range of campaigns. This includes large-scale digital ads and print advertisements, ensuring each final product is visually compelling and meets production requirements. My experience as an artworker allows me to maintain the highest quality in final files, preparing them for web and print formats.
